Pre-cutting InstructionsToday, Jacob felled his first tree. We had a beautiful Blue Spruce in the middle of our new backyard. We debated all winter about it's fate. Would it stay, or would it go?? This was a very difficult decision, but eventually, family games and times of fellowship won out. So, today, Jacob got the hands-on experience of felling a tree. We felled a tree last year as a family for some neighbors, but Troy and another man did the actual cutting down, the rest of us were 'clean up crew'.
We are looking forward to planting more grass and having a fantastic area for baseball, volleyball, kickball, frisbee...whatever!

TIMBER!!! IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR OUR TREE-LOVING FRIENDS:
We plan to put in a small orchard on the property...just not in the middle of the back yard , so no worries!
